So many of us are so familiar with gambling that perhaps we haven’t stopped to ponder what casino gambling is.  Sure many of us are involved in it almost daily and have a good idea of what we are doing, but for the inexperienced it can be confusing.  Broadly speaking, casino gambling is the betting on casino games whose outcome is random.  Although an inbuilt ‘House advantage’ is talked about when discussing casino gambling, as far as a punter is concerned, the outcome of game will be random.  This is true of card games, such as poker and blackjack and other games such as roulette, where the bounce of the ball determines who wins and who loses.

Casino gambling can take place either in a bricks and mortar, physical casino or as now also commonly the case, in internet casinos.  It is in these too, that there are so many opportunities for casino gambling.  You can bet on the more traditional games that you would expect to find in a regular casino; roulette, Blackjack, poker and Craps but there are all manner of other casino games, arcades, different types of Blackjack and poker, slots and now some casino games from Asia.

Casino gambling has altered its appearance radically in the very recent past and with the constant stream of developments, both in terms of the possibility of regulation of internet casinos and also the potential of greater advances in technology.
